Clean your printer’s printhead

Your printer’s printhead may have got clogged due to lesser use of the printer. This needs you to perform a printhead cleaning for your Epson printer using the following method.

  • First, keep a blank paper in the paper tray of your Epson printer.
  • Open your system’s Control Panel from the Start menu.
  • Go to the Devices and Printers option.

Method 3: Using the Epson Adjustment Program

This method is useful when the buttons of the printer are not in a working condition. To reset the printer using this method requires a little more time, but this method is very easy to follow. The steps to be followed to Reset Epson Printer to Factory Settings using this method are:

  1. Download and install the latest version of Epson Adjustment Program on your computer system.
  2. Open the Epson Adjustment Program on your computer system.
  3. Click on the Select option to make the necessary selections.

  5. Click on the OK button.
  6. The Adjustment and Maintenance window will be opened. Select the Waste Ink Pad Counter option under the Maintenance section.

  8. Now, check the Main Ink Pad Counter option and click on the initialize button given at the bottom right corner.
  9. Click on the Finish button to finish the Epson printer reset process.
  10. Restart the printer for the settings to take effect.
